The superintendent celebrates the new partnership between the Cascade School District and Communities in Schools® (CIS) NCW, highlighting the work of Site Coordinator Dora Campos at Alpine Lakes Elementary and Icicle River Middle School. Dora supports students facing challenges like hunger, homelessness, language barriers, social anxiety, and behavioral issues by connecting them with resources, collaborating with school counselors, and leading programs such as the clothing closet, toy drives, and a Kindness Club. Through this partnership, students receive comprehensive support that enhances their wellness, engagement, and sense of belonging in school.
