Carmen Valencia was born and raised in Wenatchee, WA. She earned her Associate’s degree from WVC, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a minor in Family Science from CWU — go Wildcats!

Outside of work, she loves playing volleyball, watching soccer, spending time with family, and going on walks to enjoy the outdoors. She’s bilingual in English and Spanish, so you’ll often hear her speaking Spanglish! She also loves visiting her family in Mexico and  has many fun adventures with them!

Carmen is excited to work with K–12 students and get to know each of them for who they are. She understands that every student has their own journey of life and can support them both in school and in life. She leads with empathy, kindness, and takes the time to connect with students one-on-one. She’s looking forward to building meaningful relationships and being a positive support for students and their families every step of the way.
