My name is Ivon Mata. I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. I moved here to Moses Lake last year in May. Before coming to CIS, I was a paraprofessional in the Moses Lake District. And prior to that I had 4 years with the Salt Lake District working as an after-school group leader and a paraprofessional. I attended Salt Lake Community College to work on my associate of science. My goal is to go back to school and get a degree in the medical field. No matter where my career has taken me, I simply enjoy helping others. I’m glad I can do that in a school setting and help families and students be able to succeed in life. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going out and trying new coffee places. I also enjoy traveling with my husband and family.
