Jorge G. Ybarra was raised in the Columbia Basin area (Moses Lake/Warden), and attended Eastern Washington University, where he obtained a Bachelors in Recreational Management, w/a Minor in Psychology. His goals are to help Youth stay on the right path and to provide Mentorship. Jorge has a long history in the Correctional setting environments, and one of his main goals is to redirect Youth before getting to that stage in their lives, and he feels that working w/the Youth through CIS is a way to do that. Jorge also knows the struggles of growing up w/out the assistance he needed, and nowhere to turn too. He dropped out of High School due to this, and one of his biggest regrets was not being able to graduate w/his childhood friends. He later obtained his G.E.D., which he took to E.W.U. and generated it into a B.A.. Jorge is a very compassionate and caring person who truly cares about the Youth of today and their future. Outside of work he likes spending time w/family and playing Racquetball.
