❤️ Check out our  Events!

Hello, my name is Oscar J Ochoa. I was born in Mexico and came to Washington like many families to find a better life. We are a family of seven siblings. My parents worked hard all their lives to provide the best possible for their children. Education became essential. I moved from Washington to Louisiana and finished HS and college. I moved back to Washington as this was my home.

I have been working as a Social Worker for over 30 years for the state of Washington. I enjoy working with people and helping them maneuver through the challenges that many of us go through. Also, I have been a local youth pastor and young adult leader for many years. My wife, of over 30 years, and I have three amazing children. Recently, I moved to another position with the state of Washington as a Language Access Program Manager.

I have been very active with the public school with my children and still today. I am very connected with the community and working with youth. Helping people and walking alongside them through life’s challenges has been something that we have enjoyed for many years, my wife and I.
